Jose Luis Gutierrez director and owner of Karibe dance Studio has been dancing and teaching Salsa for more than 12 years. He danced, instructed, promoted and choreographed.

With his unique personality and teaching abilities, he is creating a new generation of Salsa dancers, among which many are becoming instructors, professional dancers and choreographers. He has competed in more than 20 dance contest placing 1^st place in more of them. Recently, he competed at the world Salsa Championship in Orlando, Florida.

He has performed for artist such as Will Smith, Albita, Richie Ray and Bobby Cruz, Tito Puente Jr., just to name a few. Also, he has appeared in various T.V Shows in Florida, performs in numerous congresses around the United States such as: The Miami Salsa Congress, The L.A. Salsa Congress, The Orlando Salsa Congress, and Washington DC Congress.
